There was plenty of suspicion, strategy and teamwork at Cardiff East as learners took part in their very own version of The Traitors!
Inspired by the popular TV show, the interactive session challenged learners to work together, communicate effectively and solve problems, all while trying to work out who they could really trust.
Behind the fun and competition was a great opportunity to develop some important employability and transferable skills. Learners had to listen to others, explain their thinking, make decisions under pressure, contribute to group discussions and adapt their approach as the activity progressed.
The session encouraged learners to step outside their comfort zones and demonstrated how skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, critical thinking and confidence can be developed through creative and engaging activities.
Most importantly, everyone got involved!
The atmosphere at Cardiff East was fantastic, with brilliant engagement from learners throughout the afternoon and plenty of healthy debate as the Faithfuls attempted to uncover the Traitors among them.
Sessions like this show that developing skills for the workplace doesn’t always have to happen behind a desk. Creating opportunities for learners to learn through experience can help build confidence, strengthen relationships and make learning both meaningful and memorable.
Well done to our Cardiff East learners and staff for creating such a fun and engaging session, the only question left is… did the Faithfuls manage to find all the Traitors? 👀
