Role and Responsibilities Summary
  • Assist in managing stores, ensuring stock control and inventory accuracy.
  • Support health and safety compliance, carrying out routine checks and assisting with risk assessments.
  • Help with the coordination of maintenance tasks, ensuring timely repairs and upkeep of facilities.
  • Shadow the Facilities Manager, learning operational procedures and management strategies.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to support facilities operations.
  • Keep records updated and assist in reporting and documentation tasks.
  • Perform general administrative tasks related to facilities management.

Skills

  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in facilities management.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations (training provided).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to assist with physical tasks when required.
  • IT literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Previous experience in a similar environment (preferred but not essential).
