Role and Responsibilities Summary
- Assist in managing stores, ensuring stock control and inventory accuracy.
- Support health and safety compliance, carrying out routine checks and assisting with risk assessments.
- Help with the coordination of maintenance tasks, ensuring timely repairs and upkeep of facilities.
- Shadow the Facilities Manager, learning operational procedures and management strategies.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to support facilities operations.
- Keep records updated and assist in reporting and documentation tasks.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to facilities management.
Skills
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in facilities management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations (training provided).
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Hands-on approach and willingness to assist with physical tasks when required.
- IT literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Previous experience in a similar environment (preferred but not essential).
