Roles and responsibilites:

• Assisting carpet and floor layers with the installation of carpets, vinyl, laminate, LVT, and other floor coverings
• Preparing work areas, including removing old flooring, clearing rooms, and ensuring surfaces are clean and level
• Cutting and carrying materials and tools to and from job sites
• Measuring, marking, and helping to cut flooring materials under supervision
• Loading and unloading vans and maintaining an organised workspace
• Supporting with underlay fitting, gripper installation, and floor preparation tasks
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Keeping tools and equipment clean and in good working order
• Providing good customer service while working in clients’ homes or commercial properties
