Location: Primary Schools within Cardiff

Hours: 15 hours per week Monday – Friday

Roles and responsibilites:

• Supporting After School Clubs in a variety of sports and age groups.
• Delivering a wide range of sports.
• Follow Future Stars and school safeguarding procedures (Including all policies & procedures)
• Manage child behaviour.
• Representing the company in a positive manner
• Have positive and confident conversations with teachers and parents.
• To ensure children are treated accordingly to their individual needs and capabilities.

Qualifications/Skills:

It is essential that the successful candidate has the following:

• GCSE’s and/or A Levels (or equivalent) in PE or BTEC Sport
• Experience in working with children aged below 12 from all backgrounds
• Ability and commitment to continue developing knowledge and skills within sports coaching
• Recognised NGB Level 2 certificate in Sports Coaching or childcare
• Willing to undertake training and professional development where necessary
• Excellent communication skills
• Prioritise the safety and well being of the young children they work with
• Are organised and punctual
• Can work alone or as part of a team
• A positive attitude
