Office Support

Location: Neath (working across two branches within walking distance)

Employer: The Health Dispensary

Reports to: Operations Manager

Roles and responsibilites:
  • General Administration & Office Support
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative duties
  • Data entry and updating internal systems
  • Filing, scanning and organising documents
  • Supporting communication between teams at both branches
Stock Management & Picklists
  • Creating and processing daily picklists
  • Assisting with stock control, rotation and shelf organisation
  • Scanning incoming stock into the system
  • Ensuring surplus stock is recorded and correctly stored
  • Helping manage stock for our automated pharmacy systems
Dispensing Support
(Full training provided – no dispensing decisions required)
  • Scanning prescriptions and stock to patient baskets
  • Preparing baskets for the accuracy checking team
  • Keeping the dispensary tidy, organised and workflow-ready
  • Filling and maintaining medication robots/automated systems
Customer Service
  • Greeting visitors and directing them to the right service
  • Answering basic enquiries clearly and professionally
  • Supporting our team to deliver friendly, feel-good care
  • Maintaining a calm, welcoming environment at both sites
Branch Support (Two Locations)
  • Working between our two local branches (walking distance apart)
  • Supporting both teams depending on daily needs
  • Helping ensure smooth workflow across both sites
Skills & Qualities We’re Looking For
  • Friendly, positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Able to follow instructions and work safely
  • Organised, reliable and able to prioritise tasks
  • Comfortable moving between branches during the day
  • Interest in health, wellbeing or community care is a bonus

    Training & Development
    We will provide full training in:
  • Pharmacy workflows and stock management
  • Customer service and communication
  • Use of pharmacy IT systems and scanning equipment
  • Workplace professionalism, teamwork and time management
  • Safe handling and storage of medicines
  • Optional wider skills development (wellbeing, leadership, etc.)
