Worker Protection Act for senior leaders, managers, and human resources
The Worker Protection Act (WPA), effective from 26th October 2024, introduces a legal duty for employers to take proactive and preventative steps to eliminate sexual harassment in the workplace. This duty goes beyond merely responding to complaints; employers must actively work to create a safe and respectful environment where harassment is unlikely to occur.
