- Preparing Your Organisation: how to adapt to comply with the new requirements?

This free bite-sized webinar is aimed at senior leaders and middle managers, particularly those who drive or manage organisational culture or risk, such as HR and L&D teams. It is also beneficial for managers seeking to understand the broader context of their organisation’s overall development and who may find themselves supporting their more junior colleagues.

- Policy and understanding: What should an effective policy on sexual harassment look like and how can this be effectively incorporated into wider policies on bullying harassment, dignity and respect? What steps can you take to ensure true understanding of the meaning and impact of harassment, how to identify where behaviour has crossed the line and to promote proper understanding of your policy?
- Culture and respect: The steps that can be taken to promote a culture of dignity and respect within the organisation, creating an environment in which sexual harassment is less likely to happen. How to assess and improve organisational culture at all levels of the organisation and built respect into key workplace interactions.
- Dealing with challenges: How to review the robustness and accessibility of your processes for addressing poor behaviour, dealing with complaints and supporting those involved in the process. How to encourage all team members to respond effectively to challenging behaviour, support each other and ensure confidence in your processes.
- Training and engagement: Steps to take to train and properly inform team members at all levels in your organisation about the impact of the Worker Protection Act, everyone’s rights and responsibilities and to engage effectively with your workforce about the issues
