Salary:

£12.21 per hour 21 and over
£11.69 per hour 20 year old
£10.45 per hour 18-19 year old
£9.25 per hour for under-18

Role and Responsibilities Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine parts on CNC machine, learn how to operate the machine and then how to program it
• Learn how to operate Packing machines and Ultrasonic welders
• Learn how to use a lathe and millers
• Insert parts and trim parts from the mould shop ready for customers
• Inspect production and assist QC with drawing up quality plans, build instructions etc…
• Work as part of a team
• Potential to train up as toolmaker at a later date to include the use of spark eroders, laser welders etc..

We are a family business and manufacture plastic injection mouldings for many local and national companies, as well as producing our own range of security products sold worldwide. We are busy and growing, and have a loyal and long-serving staff.

We are looking for someone willing to learn, ideally who has had some background in stores work and stock control, who would be reliable and conscientious.

The person taking the job on will need to be able to deal with a lot of movement and lifting and carrying, be organised and tidy in what they do. Ability to use Excel, Word and ideally Microsoft Access would be useful.
