Support Worker

Location: Caerphilly

Employer: Q Care

Hours of Work: 28 hours a week

Salary: National Minimum Wage

Role and Responsibilities Summary
  • Personal care includes such tasks as assisting to wash, dress, bathe, toilet and feed.
  • Domestic duties include preparing and cooking meals, essential cleaning, shopping, bill payment, pension collection and fire maintenance.
  • Enabling and support may include such activities as supervising, monitoring and coaching to empower service users to be as independent as possible and have control over their own lives.
  • Support Workers may also be required to escort or accompany service users to outings, appointments or other events.
